Pisses me off.Didn't last a year. I used this player last winter while in hospital.Worked well enough.Not a great picture but it's less than 200.00.Bought a nice nylon case and the whole bit.Took down from the closet today and it's broken.The sound works but the picture you can barely see on the screen.
One of the best units on the market. I love the size of the unit and the fact that I get over 6 hours of active use with the battery -- great for those long flight to Europe. I have had mine for over 6 months and it works like a charm.
It's her most favorite birthday present, ever. It has a beautiful picture and clear sound. I bought this for my daughter, and she loves it. She would rather watch DVDs instead of tv now.
I even tried some of the hacks provided in the net.I am just waiting to upgrade the firmware if possible to make it multi region player. This piece didnt work in India , tried indian cd's/dvd's(region 5) but of no use.
At least it came fine out of the box ;-). I've only used the DVD player once, on a 3 hours road trip, and it worked nicely. I just hope that it keeps working that way for at least some time, since I felt there were a lot of bad reviews out there for all portable DVDs in general.
